Well today was our 3-D ultrasound and as you can see the pictures turned out awesome! We weren't really sure what to expect and we were kind of nervous we might see something we didn't want to see.... This picture is of a fat little leg and a tiny foot. The ultrasound technician said the baby was about 3 lbs. and in the 65th percentile for it's weight and size, so a little bigger than average! She guessed it would be about 7 1/2 to 8 pounds if carried full term. This is good news for Mommy because we are HOPING on a natural birth!!!!!!!!
This is obviously the little foot. We were glad to see all toes were accounted for!
We were trying to get a lot of face shots but the baby was just not having it. It always wanted it's hands and feet up by it's face. It was trying to sleep and there were a couple of times the technician poked at my stomach to try and move the baby into a better position. This just made it mad and we new that because of the facial expressions!!!! It is so funny to think that it is already full of personality.
This shot is a perfect example of how it wanted to be positioned most of the time. Hands by the cheeks and snuggled up tight!
We love this picture cause it shows the hand and the little fingers so perfectly! What a cute little face too. You can also see that there is some hair up on that head! When the technician told us that, we were soooo excited. Mommy was bald and Daddy had just a little hair.
Another really good shot of that cute little face!!
SOOO sleepy!!! Here you can see the baby taking a big yawn. It figures that it is so active when I am trying to sleep, but when it comes time for pictures it was sleeping.
This is Mommy's personal favorite. Look at that tongue! I just know this baby is going to be rotten to the core. Already making silly faces for the camera!
We have another appointment in two weeks and hopefully we will get some better shots of the face. Now that I know how to update the blog, I will keep everyone updated more frequently! Love to all, Amber and Nick
